I have been meeting the Senior Partner's clients and he has been introducing me as "the man who is going to takeover". That was a bit daunting at first but I can see that he is looking at this as a genuine opportunity for me to progress and him to take a back seat on the day to day stuff and allow him to get out and market the business. Partnership opportunity is closer than ever as he wants to retire in an absolute maximum of 10 years. I think 5 or so is probably more realistic and where he wants it to be.
