Description:
Bushboard is the UK's largest independent manufacturer of worksurfaces. A successful and long established organisation turning over £22m, they are an innovative and dynamic owner managed business.
Due to retirement Bushboard is taking the opportunity to recruit a Commercial Accountant to work closely with the Finance Director and other Senior Management team members to help to drive the business forward. This is a “hands on role” which, with the support of a small team, has responsibility for the day to day financial processes of the business.
The successful applicant will be fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA, possess proven financial and management accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment and will have worked closely with senior management.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a commercial approach and adopt the necessary interpersonal and management techniques necessary to communicate effectively with suppliers and customers and to motivate employees. This role will also provide responsibility for the review, and development of an operational, manufacturing and accounting system therefore strong IT skills are essential.
This role would provide continuing challenges and long term progression and development for the right person.
