Audit Senior - Maternity cover - Northamptonshire c£32K pro-rata
Independent firm is recruiting for maternity cover reasons for 6 months initially but it is also anticipated that the role may become permanent as the firm continues to attract new business and the role develops.
The level of the role is ideally at newly or recently qualified ACA / ACCA and is really aimed at Audit and Accounts Senior rather than Managerial level, which is reflected in the equivalent salary on a full time basis of being c £32K p.a. pro rata.This type of opportunity will suit somebody about to finish a similar contract or has recently been made redundant with relevant audit experience gained from working within Public Practice at Senior level.
Audit experience is essential and will include significant experience from planning each audit assignment through to completion of the file for review by one of the Partners and will require minimal involvement from Managers or Partners; as it is initially a contract the firm does require the successful applicant to be able to hit the ground running after an initial briefing from the Partners.
The audit element of the role will take up to about 60% and will also require the ability to supervise junior staff and liaise directly with clients.
Aside from audit the role will also involve accounts preparation work, to include group consolidations and taxation work.
