Our client has an opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper. The role will involve the bookkeeping for a small portfolio of about 25 clients and requires a high level of proficiency using SAGE.
This is a pure bookkeeping role which will also combine the preparation of VAT returns and the production of monthly management accounts, using SAGE. An understanding of VAT rules / regulations and an ability to spot any obvious errors is crucial.
As part of this role there is also one client where the firm acts as the back office on a daily basis with the input of all invoices and transactions to enable continuous up-to-date information to be available for the financial management of the business and will take up to about 50% of the role.
The successful candidate will ideally have worked for a Professional firm of accountants with the ability to multi-task; a necessity when juggling the requirements of a number of clients at the same time.
